Which do you prefer and why? Which one is more likely to injure you if not done correctly?
Me personally, I am a P90X graduate 2x over!
Hello Brother. I thank the Grand Supreme Architect that I still have a pretty high metabolism, because I don’t workout. I do eat very well which plays a great role in keeping lean, but if I had to go on a workout program it would be cross fit at this present time. It’s less excruciating, but once I got my body trained again, I would go all out with P90X. If a person has never worked out, P90X I feel would be to much to handle, because I think that’s a nonstop 3 month workout plan ?
Okay so I’ve got this home gym in my basement but I’m not sure how to use it the right way. Can anyone help me out?
what kind of home gym? what equipment?
I want to import Treadmills from china to India and pls tell what is import duty of this product.
You should consider looking for Indian-made treadmills. China makes a lot of money from people like you and they really don’t need it. You ultimately do not save money when you buy from China. The government is forced to spend more on defense and less on development to counter Chinese military aggression that is indirectly funded by Indian consumers. And Indian manufacturers are forced to layoff workers. China continues to humiliate us and tell their people that they sell these things to us because we are inferior and cannot make them on our own. The only reason why they are so cheap is because they steal the technology so they do not have to recover R&D costs. You also do not know what you are getting from the Chinese. For example they have made fake medicines that say "Made in India" and exported them abroad to make money, ruin our brand names, and hurt poor Africans who rely on lifesaving drugs made by our great firms like Ranbaxy. They also gave nukes to Pakistan and gave equipment and diplomatic protection to the Mumbai terrorists. You should read some of the "People’s Daily" articles about India. They are hateful and the netizen comments are even worse. Please reconsider and think about your country. Chinese people hate India and laugh at us. They have also destroyed the temples of the Tibetans and forced Muslim Uighur children to eat pork at school during Ramadan to de-Islamize them and make them more Chinese. And because they buy oil and give nukes to Pakistan, most Muslim countries are silent about the oppression.
On the other hand there are countries who have been good to India and to minorities. If you buy products that are made in the EU, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, or the USA you will ultimately help India and its allies. I am an Indian-American and I assure you that America treats us very well, unlike Australia, and US politicians and the US public overwhelmingly favor backing India in a war against China. Customers will also appreciate the better quality of non-Chinese goods, especially those from the USA, EU, Japan, and Korea. Consider buying or wholesaling Indian-made treadmills. Indians take pride in their craft and many reputable international companies are manufacturing in India. Or if you specifically prefer the import business you could consider any of the other countries. Treadmills made in Vietnam will be competitive in price and have good quality. Taiwan also makes many treadmills and it is a democratic country that has excellent relations with India and it would still be a bargain. Please consider your country. We Indians will have to stop taking shortcuts if we want to see a developed India that can be a democratic world superpower. Please think about what you are doing here, do it for India. Thank you and Jai Hind!
I’ve gained about 20 pounds in the last year and have also developed plantar fasciitis in my right foot. I’m currently doing stretching exercises and wearing shoe inserts. I had planned to start walking but that’s not an option right now. What is the best cardio exercise equipment for me that won’t put unnecessary pressure on my foot?
Aqua Jogging, go to the local swimming pool and see if they run classes. Best of Luck
I am looking for in home equipment for cardio. I have never owned a piece of gym equipment. I am on a budget and definately don’t want a treadmill. I have quite a bit of weight to lose and am in my twenties. What would be good for me? An Elliptical, Stair Climber, what else? Also, what is a good brand to look for that is not overly expensive?
A jump rope helps alot and its cheap, builds cardio and burns calories. And you can take it anywhere.
I don’t have the cash at the moment to go to the gym or buy more equipment. But here’s what i have:
Dumbells
Barbells which i have about 50 kilograms maybe more i can add to it.
Chin up bar
Ab roller/Push up machine that allows you to go further down with push ups
3 hours ago – 4 days left to answer.
u can do almost anything with a dumbell/barbells. try these
http://www.leehayward.com/arms.htm
with the chin up bar u can do
pull ups, behind ur head pull ups, those pull ups where u use ur shoulders instead of biceps, u can put ur legs up over the bar and do sit ups.
thats all i can think of atm hope this helps
The obvious answer is both. If you only do one, what is the best way to maintain physical fitness, agility, and have fun.
Well, if you do team sports you’ll end up having to do jogs as part as training, so I’d go with that one
Other than being a personal trainer at a gym, what kinds of jobs can and how much money can I make by becoming in great shape and knowing alot about weightlifting. Can you get a job at a hospital as a personal trainer and make good money, and hard is it? Or at a big business? Or what other jobs are there where I can use that knowledge, like working for fitness magazines, pharmacuticals, etc…?
PE Teacher
YMCA Sports
Call them up and find out.
Shouldn’t I preserve as much muscle as possible being that I’m a lean bodied person with very little stomach fat by doing more strength training instead of cardio? What if you have already a lean body but you just want your stomach toned down a bit. Cardio or Strength training?
I would say strength training, because if you are already lean, building a little extra muscle will push through, giving you the appearance of a well developed – sculpted physique.
