Ok, so i DONT want you to give me a five week eating plan and a lecture on how to loose weight.
I just wanna know, if you were to work out on a home gym, meaning working out muscles NOT CARDIO, would you
loose weight or
gain muscles or
turn fat into muscle?
Also, does muscles really weigh more than fat AND does fat really turn into muscle???
Thanks

About a month ago I was in the gym doing a crossfit workout doing muscle ups and wall ball shots. On muscle ups you do a pull up on gymnastics rings and then transition to a dip (alot of stress on the shoulders), and on wall ball shots you throw a 20 pound ball up at a ten foot target, catch it, squat down, stand up and shoot it again. Before that workout I was feeling some slight pain in my shoulder from wrestling but didn’t think much of it, and I proceeded to workout. The next morning the inside of my shoulder at the joint really hurt, and I specifically remember that if I made my arm a 90 degree angle in front of me and lifted it that it would cause guaranteed pain every time.
I treated it with ice and heat, and also took ibuprofen which helped ALOT because it reduced inflammation. When it felt better for a few day’s I would workout, put stress on it, and sometimes it would feel fine at first but later on when I kept putting strain on it I would feel an injury again. It’s been on and off like this for a month, and off-season wrestling has obviously contributed as well.
Now I’m a few day’s away from the season and I definitely cannot go in right now. I feel pain if I lift my arm back and up (the pain is in the top of the joint) or if I lift it up from my side and then rotate it forward (once again pain is in the top of the joint).
What could this injury be exactly and what’s the best way for me to treat it?
Thanks,
-Chaz
